10 Singers Who HATE Their Own Songs
3. Liam Gallagher - Wonderwall
Some singers grow to hate their songs after the song in question becomes so popular that they become synonymous with the singer, which is the case with Oasis and Wonderwall. This is insult added to injury for Liam Gallagher, as he wasn't fond of the track in the first place.
In 2008, Gallagher admitted that he hates the song, and that he was annoyed that he was only recognized in America as "Mr. Wonderall".
In an interview with WENN, while promoting Oasis's new (and ultimately final) album, Dig Out Your Soul, Gallagher said that "At least there's no 'Wonderwall' on there. I can't f***ing stand that f***ing song! Every time I have to sing it I want to gag."
Of course, part of his hatred for the song may be out of ill will towards his brother Noel, who wrote the song. Noel has admitted he doesn't like the song much either, though.
