10 Songs By The Answer You Need To Listen To

This is the song that started it all off for me.

"On & On" grabbed me right from the start. It was refreshing to see a four piece band, a tobacco burst Les Paul, and a lead singer who looked to be enjoying the music instead of trying too hard to "look cool".

The Answer were so different to anything on the market in 2009, and that was huge. They had this classic rock sound without sounding like a tribute band, or a cheap knock-off. They were 100% original, and that was exciting. They weren't a classic rock band, they were a modern rock band, forging their own path through modern music.

This band stood out from the crowd, and this song was part of that. The riffs were fresh and original, and I couldn't tell you the last time I heard a band using a wah-wah pedal that wasn't from the 80s. When you listen to this song, as it gets closer and closer to the ending you find yourself saying "I really don't want this to end!" and it's true, the ending was incredible, it just keeps building, but going back to the start of the chorus again, but even at that, I could listen to the song go on & on & on & on.

So I encourage anyone who has read this article, listened to the songs, and enjoyed them to buy the albums, watch the clips, and buy tickets to the shows because they really are the best rock band in the world right now, and you don't want them to pass you by!
