As I previously mentioned, The Answer are not afraid to experiment with their sound, and this offering from New Horizon is an all out blues track.
Going back to their influences and roots, "Baby Kill Me" is again, a modern twist on a traditional blues song. With lyrics that could find their way into any BB King, Muddy Waters or Buddy Guy song and a guitar riff that you can almost hear being played in a bar in the middle of the USA, this song is what blues rock fans want to be listening to in 2016. It showcases just how well The Answer can take a song or style from any era and really put their stamp all over it.
The Answer are no stranger to traditional blues songs and styles, having previously recorded "Rock Bottom Blues" for their debut album, and that could easily have been on this list, but the modern, and polished sound of "Baby Kill Me" just tips it for me. However, I strongly suggest listening to "Rock Bottom Blues" if you're a fan of the blues, and just to listen to that note from Neeson towards the end of the song. Trust me, you'll know when it hits!
