When it comes to 2000's rock, The Black Parade by My Chemical Romance is a modern marvel of the genre. Running as a rock opera, the entire record follows this man who is slowly withering away to nothing as a result of cancer. The lyrics paint vivid pictures as the Patient tries to sort out his fate, culminating in the visceral "Famous Last Words."

At this point, it's crunch time for the Patient. The man is on his deathbed, fighting for every breath he takes as he tears apart his soul.
