9. Stop - Spice Girls
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OiRQaf4Fnpw Stop was the seventh CD single to be released in the UK by mega group the Spice Girls. The group had enjoyed a string of number 1 hit songs before it's release, including "Wannabe", "Too Much" and "2 Become 1", but "Stop" failed to land at the summit. All those years later and the Spice Girls have become symbols of camp 1990s pop. There has been a musical in the West End, a global reunion tour and a spectacular performance at the London Olympics too. Individually, the girls have achieved fantastic success in their own personal endeavours as well. But even those who aren't diehard fans of the group will remember the dicky dance moves associated with "Stop". You know, the whole "stop right now, thank you very much". It's some of the more cringeworthy choreography from the era, but it suits the sound of the track perfectly. If anyone was to impersonate the Spice Girls, Stop would be the first song to go to because the choreography is so unforgettable.
