10 Songs You Need To Add To Your Halloween 2020 Playlist

4. Kim - Eminem

Long before the internet really had a hold on the cultural landscape, Eminem was the beginnings of what would become a troll. From having insulting lyrics to making insensitive remarks, most of Slim Shady's persona was looking to shock fans rather than actually telling them what to do. Most fans knew that Em had a troubled past, but Kim was so much darker than anyone could have imagined.

Before this was released, Em had already made a dark song on 97 Bonnie and Clyde, where he takes his daughter to the lake to throw his wife's corpse into the water. That's already a messed up situation, but Kim acts as the prequel to all of this happening, where a mentally unstable Em goes off on the titular Kim after putting their daughter Hailie to bed.

Em had definitely touched on domestic abuse before, but something about this song feels painfully real, as he drags his girlfriend out into the woods before stabbing her, all while imitating the sounds of her hysterical terror and eventual death. It's bad enough to have a song like this to your name, but the fact that the titular Kim is a real person who exists adds another layer of crazy to this song. Despite all of the pissed off anthems Slim Shady has given us over the years, Kim" is not one for the faint of heart.
