We've established that Heavy Metal isn't a tool of the Devil, nor does it promote Devil worship. That doesn't change the fact, though, that there are many, many great metal songs about the Devil and Devil worship.

Black Sabbath's first, self-titled album contains the classic Satan-centric track "N.I.B." The song is one of Sabbath's best-remembered, and contains the immortal verse "Now I have you with me, under my power/Our love grows stronger now with every hour/Look into my eyes, you'll see who I am/My name is Lucifer, please take my hand." Other classic bands like Diamondhead and Mercyful Fate often played with devilish and demonic concepts in their music - as did later acts, like Dio - and the result was a frightening feel that was different from anything else being produced musically.

Why invoke the Devil if there's not a hidden agenda? It's scary! It's fun! It's a song! He's not real! Chill out!
