10 Things We Know About The New Mumford & Sons Album
8. The First Live Show
The album announcement was a surprise, and the first live performance of the album caught fans off guard too. An email was sent to the band's mailing list on Sunday evening about the tiny gig at Oslo in Hackney, on Monday. The band played 11 tracks in front of a capacity 375 crowd under secure conditions. Concert-goers were checked upon entry, and had phones and cameras held to one side to prevent any leaks of the new tracks. And to stop them all being idiots and filming the entire concert instead of actually enjoying it.
