10 Things We Know About The New Mumford & Sons Album

7. The Artwork

In complete contrast to the band's previous albums, Wilder Mind features a blaring city skyline, as opposed to a humble shop front image (Sigh No More) and an old-fashioned country farmhouse party (Babel). The font too suggests a move away from the traditional, old-school, gentlemen approach, and towards a modern, fresh feel. It's a multi-dimensional shift for Mumford. It's not just the sound that's changing, it's the whole image of the band.
