10 Things You Didn't Know About Foo Fighters

7. They Fine Venues For Misspellings And Typos

Foo Fighters has a pretty fantastic history with creatively utilizing their tour riders. In 2011, they famously turned their rider for their Wasting Light Tour into a full-length coloring book, complete with "activity pages" that gently reminded venues which foods the picky Foos don't enjoy. (There's a Catering Don'ts word hunt, for example.) And while that's hilarious and all in good fun, that doesn't mean Dave and company aren't professionals. They take what they do pretty seriously and, despite their own claims of enjoying the imperfections in the recording process, they damn sure want to get every facet of their tours just right. So, if any venue is haphazard enough to misspell the band's name--or typos of any kind in the promotional materials--it will set the promoter back $100.
