The rock n' roll spirit only has such potency and immortal stature thanks to guys like Lemmy and the debauchery-filled times he and every major rockstar had across the 70s and 80s. It seemed like there was something in the water back then too, as women left, right and centre would fling themselves at anyone who could even get close to a stage and bellow out a few power chords. Speaking to Maxim back in 2006, Lemmy noted "It's probably 1200 or so now. I've been at it a long time and I was never married, so there hasn't been any time off." Brilliantly, after the interviewer started talking about how important looks are to attraction, Lemmy dropped in this little gem,
"It's not so much looks as it is making them laugh. Chicks don't give a f**k about handsome in the final analysis. It's because they take the makeup off every day, and they know how deep handsome is."
