Grimshaw's handling of the incident was admirable to say the least - especially in comparison to other presenter's having a disaster while live, including 5 live presenter Shelagh Fogarty, who had a complete meltdown when a mouse ran over her hand mid-show. He made his announcement, calmly handed over the microphone to Fearne Cotton who finished the show and excused himself. A little while later he tweeted: "Went to hospy, had x-rays, coughed it up, all fine now"
