Whilst listening to
Creature With The Atom Brain to get in the zone for writing about them, I was also reading an article about
10 Childrens Books That Are (still) Frightening To Adults and it seemed kind of apt. Not because these songs are frightening, but because whilst that article dealt with adults looking back into their childhood and still finding themselves afraid the songs of
Creature With The Atom Brain work the other way around.
Creature With The Atom Brains brand of rocknroll sounds as strange and surreal as rocknroll might first sound when perceived by a child. Especially if that child was unfortunate enough for that first experience to be in a dive bar or strip club with a head full of acid. http://youtu.be/83eLi_a38bI
