10 Things You Should Know About The Guns N' Roses Reunion
2. A Stadium Tour Has Been Rumoured
Think Guns N' Roses can fill stadiums in 2016? You won't be alone in being doubtful, but a stadium tour has been rumoured. That may hinge on how well the initial shows go, but both Coachella and the Vegas shows have sold out, so it's a strong start. However, Coachella always sells out, and a couple of arena shows in Las Vegas aren't quite the same thing as a stadium tour stateside. Very few bands can sell that many tickets these days. It's sort of a gamble, really. Guns N' Roses was already doing well enough on the arena circuit without its old members, so it's almost as if the band has to go bigger - after all, what's the point otherwise, especially with the band rumoured to have secured several million dollars per show? Yet if the stadium is half empty, you could have just gone the arena route anyway. This is why festivals like Coachella are such an alluring option, as there's much more security in terms of attendance.
