West remains one of the most intriguing dudes on the mic, because every other line he spits is pure gold, while the other half are mind-boggling nonsense. It makes every Kanye song a fascinating listening experience, because you never know which version of him you're going to get. Sometimes though, sometimes his lyrics are so dumb and immature and... dumb even more... that it makes you wonder if he's really the creative genius we've claimed him to be, or if he just happens to put random words together with a staggeringly high success rate. You just know that after he got out of the studio, he looked at the producers like "Eh? Eh?? See what I did with that line?" He wasn't just trying to blow our minds with this lyric. He was trying to implode the universe. (And our anuses?)
