Slovakia isn't a country commonly associated with metal, but the power metal unit of Signum Regis are sure to change that if they're given even half a chance.
Despite not being a commonly known name beyond their home country, Signum Regis have been plugging away in the underground European metal scene for over a decade now. They possess a catchy and memorable sound thanks to the atmospheric, prolific delivery of their tunes. The bands biggest songs include titles such as 'Through the Desert, Through the Storm', with its classic rock edge and the stone cold power metal tone of 'Fly Away'.
Signum Regis have released a number of fantastic albums over the past few years, with the latest being 2019's 'The Seal of a New World'. This was the bands sixth studio record and one of their most streamed releases to date. However, it has tough competition to be declared as their best record due to its 2017 predecessor, 'Decennium Primum', which is also a stunning album.
