10 Weird-Ass Music Videos That TOTALLY RUINED Awesome Songs

5. David Bowie & Mick Jagger - Dancin' In The Street

The logic behind this video was simple. Just put two of the most charismatic, electrifying front men in the history of rock together in front of a camera and it'll all be fine. But it wasn't fine, was it? It wasn't fine at all!

Is this the worst music video ever to a song that reached number one in the charts? I personally think so. Dancin' In The Streets, originally written by Marvin Gaye, William Stevenson and Ivy Jo Hunter has been covered by the likes of The Kinks, Little Richard. The Mamas & The Papas and, in 1985 it was time for Bowie and Jagger to give it a go. Apparently it only took 13 hours for the two to record the song and film the music video which, if you've seen it, won't surprise you one bit.

The video is nothing more than the two of them Dad dancing around each other for a good 3 minutes. If anyone asks you what the 80s were like, show them this video of two of the biggest sex icons in the universe as they prance around in yoga pants and rompers without anyone batting an eye.

I see my role at WhatCulture the same way my wife sees my role as a lover: I contribute in a very small way, my presence is barely noticeable and I’m not entirely sure if the laughter is at me or with me.
