10 Weird-Ass Music Videos That TOTALLY RUINED Awesome Songs

4. Ozzy Osbourne - Bark At The Moon

Here's another one to add to the confusing time of 80s music videos with Ozzy Osbourne's classic hit, Bark At The Moon. This is a tricky one to call because it's hard to tell whether Ozzy wanted the werewolf costume to look so incredibly tacky or if he genuinely thought it would horrify the audience? Either way, this music video falls into the so-bad-it's-good category which unfortunately leaves us talking more about the video than the actual song.

Bark At The Moon was the opening track to Ozzy Osbourne's third album of the same name and peaked at number 19 on the Billboard album charts. The song itself personifies everything great about Ozzy. Lyrics that tell a story, heavy guitars and the occasional spine chilling laugh from The Prince Of Darkness himself. If this video was a a homage to 80s low budget horror movies, then it's spot on: there's the nauseating shaky cam, fog machines aplenty, and a decent amount of suspense built up only for it to be completely ruined once you see the big reveal. In this case it's a werewolf costume that looks more like a bathroom mat with teeth.

I see my role at WhatCulture the same way my wife sees my role as a lover: I contribute in a very small way, my presence is barely noticeable and I’m not entirely sure if the laughter is at me or with me.
