10 Worst Songs To Ever Reach Number 1 In The UK

6. Cher Lloyd - Swagger Jagger (2011)

Finishing fourth on the seventh series of The X Factor meant that Lloyd sidestepped the curse of victory in the ITV talent show - but her debut single, a hit though it may have been, didn't exactly set the world alight.

This shouty, electro-tinged number was widely panned by critics, for both its musicality and its particularly uninspired lyricism - yet it was catapulted to the summit in August 2011.

Lloyd hit the top ten again later that year with With Ur Love but she's not made a return to the highest echelons since.

One note on Swagger Jagger's week atop the charts - sat behind it in fourth was The A Team, the debut single of a then little-known singer-songwriter called Ed Sheeran. Wonder what happened to him...?
