6. Seventh Son Of A Seventh Son
The title track from the band's seventh record goes for all the mystical connotations with its title, but as the synth-accented centrepiece of the album, it still dominates proceedings on playback with a remarkable persuasion; no mean feat given the quality of singles elsewhere on it.
Inspired heavily by folklore and built as the beating heart of what is effectively a conceptual work, it's not quite up to the mark of Can I Play with Madness or The Evil That Men Do - but it's still a resoundingly effective, complex piece of musicianship from the group.
