And Bloodstock just continues to kick Download's ass for 2017.

While last week's Download Festival announcement was mediocre at best, giving the main stage a bunch of melodic rock acts while the second and fourth stages got all the good stuff, Derbyshire's Bloodstock is only making things better and better for the metalheads of the UK.

This week, three new bands were added to the four-day bill, those being reggae/metal combination Skindred, Canadian thrash veterans Annihilator and the extreme Municipal Waste.

While these acts' placement on the bill is still TBC, all three put on a masterclass of a live show, and are worthy additions to the Bloodstock line-up.
