10. Bullet For My Valentine
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nYp3qfnO1mQ Remember Bullet? Remember when they were 'the next big thing' and the rising tide of talent set to consume us all, one furious scream-filled thrash gem at a time? It seems they do too, as following the awfully pop-tinged 'My First Metal Record'-feel of Temper Temper and the lyrically-doomed Fever, they really need a big win on the level of Waking The Demon, All These Things I Hate or even Hearts Burst Into Fire to recoup the majority vote. 2013's Raising Hell showed a lot of potential, bringing back the twin-guitar assault in a big way that still makes their first two albums so imminently listenable, whilst also dabbling in lyrics that are serviceable enough, but aren't mature enough to comfortably chant along to. With 12-year strong bassist Jason James having left the band in the middle of recording it'll be down to the remaining guys to pick up the slack and crank up the potential - guitarist Padge in particular is easily one of the tightest and most gifted players of the last decade through his solo compositions alone, yet he's not had too much time to shine. Where do you stand on Bullet in 2015? Love, hate, guilty pleasure or straight-up 'meh'?
