11. Metallica
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s7SIYzXM6zA The biggest band on this list by a considerable margin - and also one of the biggest in the world, comprised of members across decades that actually don't want to tear each other's throats out at any given second - Metallica are poised to either capitalise on where Death Magnetic left off, or end up delivering something that divides their fanbase all over again. So far everything points to positivity with last year's Lords of Summer being a total head-banger of a track, one packed with chunky riffs and a back-third that'll easily reanimate the dead if given enough volume. Add that to the fact even the unreleased tracks from Death Magnetic itself showed even the cuts Hetfield and co. leave behind shine with promise, and the Metallica of 2015 is a rejuvenated beast, ready and waiting to deliver on what's now seven years of anticipation.
