6. The Mountain Goats The Legend Of Chavo Guerrero
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q9YvDfiAXT8 Released from the Mountain Goats' 2015 album Beat The Champ, The Legend Of Chavo Guerrero tells just that...the legend of Chavo Guerrero (senior), the retired professional wrestler who was prolific in the 70s and 80s and remains the oldest WWE Cruiserweight Champion. So what's so great about the video? Well, in a world of high-budget, high-concept music videos that are inching closer and closer to becoming short films, the Mountain Goats' three-and-a-half minute bout casts aside haughtiness and pretentiousness and exudes nothing but pure joy; from a wrestler faux-dramatically tearing up a picture of a Furby to front-man John Darnielle stepping into the ring to get beaten senseless (decked out like CM Punk, no less). The whole thing is completely goofy, but that's the point, and it's incredibly enjoyable to watch. There's also a fun performance by actor Rob Corddry (Hot Tub Time Machine, Childrens Hospital) and even the main man himself shows up in the video, Chavo Classic.
