12 Great Heavy Metal Deep Cuts

3. KoRn - B.B.K

Korn's recent return to form took everyone by surprise. 2016's 'Serenity of Suffering' was acclaimed by fans and critics alike and the follow up album last year was equally excellent. It couldn't have come at a better time for the band, after the sharp downfall they experienced during the early 2010's.

It's only fair that now, fans pay respect to the earlier work by the metal legends. Their breakthrough album 'Follow The Leader' contains some of the best music the band have ever written, with the singles still getting regular airplay today.

The album has its ups and downs. Some of the weirdness from their early work still appears with tracks like 'Children of the Korn' and 'Cameltosis'. But sandwiched right in the middle of the record is an absolute gem.

'B.B.K' sounds much like a continuation of 'Freak on a Leash' but with a much darker subject matter. Within the lyrics, Davis seems to battle with himself over his will to live or die. The chaotic instrumental pairs brilliantly with the subject and is a must listen for any fan.
