12 Most Outrageous Things That Ever Came Out Of Morrissey's Mouth

7. Band Aid Was Bad

You'd be hard pressed to find anyone in the world who thought that Band Aid was a bad idea, given what it did for the profile of World Hunger and poverty. Or you would be if Morrissey didn't exist, because OBVIOUSLY, he doesn't believe in the good intentions of Bob Geldof and Midge Ure:
"Bob Geldof is a nauseating character. Band Aid was the most self-righteous platform ever in the history of popular music."
A criticism of self-righteousness from Morrissey there. Somewhere, a factory full of irony klaxons has just exploded.

6. Let's Kill Prince Charles

Morrissey's personal kill list is a famous affair. He's not a big fan of people, as has already been clarified, and he's not a big fan of fellow famous people either. But the group of people who inspire the most outrageous hatred from the sometimes singer are the British Royal family, who he reserves his most bilious discontent for. In an interview that asked about the Australian student who shot a starting pistol at the Prince of Wales, Morrissey showed his usual double-standards on the old Meat Is Murder manifesto:
"I wish that Prince Charles had been shot. I think it would have made the world a more interesting place."
