Of course, last year, the band lost Malcolm Young to illness (reportedly early onset dementia). Prior to that, the band had been stable for a time, but early on, it had enough membership swaps to have the official band member count clock in at twenty-one, and that's without session players being counted in the mix. Then there's the up-in-the-air status of Phil Rudd, who was charged in 2014 with attempting to hire someone for a murder (as you do) and drug charges. The murder charge was quickly dropped, but Rudd is still fighting the drug charges and not currently touring with the band, who have re-hired former drummer Chris Slade - Rudd's original replacement when he left the band previously.
