13 Famous Bands With More Lineup Changes Than You'll Believe
13. Black Sabbath
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OhhOU5FUPBE Coming in at thirteen (coincidentally the title of their most recent album) is the legendary Black Sabbath, who, with the exception of Bill Ward's absence from the current line-up, have been relatively stable in recent years. What took place before recent years is another matter. Of course, we all know that Ronnie James Dio replaced Ozzy Osbourne as lead singer for a while, and was quite successful in doing so, cementing a piece of rock history for himself in the process. However, through the 80s and 90s, Black Sabbath included the likes of Tony Martin, Ian Gillan, Glenn Hughes, and Ray Gillen on vocals. Not to mention Vinny Appice and Eric Singer on drums for a while, and Dave Spitz on bass (as well as several others). In fact, the only constant in Black Sabbath over the years, besides change, has been Tony Iommi. He has remained with the band since day one, whilst in total, twenty-two people have been part of Sabbath not counting session players!
