7. The Misfits

The band was founded in 1977 by Glenn Danzig, then disbanded in 1983, though they would go on to become very influential after the breakup, and Danzig would find success with Samhain and solo. However, a legal battle with Danzig saw bassist Jerry Only and his brother Doyle take over the name in the mid 90s. In total between the two periods, there have been twenty members, including a Ramone - Marky Ramone on drums. Oh, and that doesn't count temporary and session members!
