12. Maybeshewill

This five piece are playing twice this weekend, with a fan voted set list for early bird ticket holders and then a regular set for the rest. After having seen them play at 2000 Trees Festival last year, I know from experience why twice is not too many times to watch Maybeshewill. I mean, admittedly they only played once there, but their stunning brand of post rock will take to two sittings quite easily I imagine. The band are from Leicester and have been round a couple of years now. Striding through their eighth year this year they are really starting to gain some significant attention, and deservedly so, for their genuinely lush soundscapes that take the especially melodic end of post rock, blend it with the sampled and programmed elements of electronic and often beautiful piano pieces. http://youtu.be/bjhZBGIAb9o
