5. Lonely The Brave
Post-hardcore/punk/indie rock
Lonely The Brave describe themselves as 'five men trying to be something to someone', and that sort of sentiment is a good representation of where the band are coming from, and where they're likely to go. The five piece from Cambridge aren't that long in the game, and their debut album is still on the horizon yet, with a release set for October, but already they've started to make an impression and have some key people take note of them; Radio 1's Daniel P Carter being one such person. By way of making that self-proclaimed mission statement a reality, the band churn out an emotionally driven style of rock that's as punk rock as it is expansive and epic. The band display a real knack for big sounding songs with equally big choruses that are likely to start getting big crowds forming and getting those big crowds going. http://youtu.be/o9niW9vYaFY
