And so arrives the first of two celebrity guest entries here, and if you thought I meant celebrity guest writers then Im sorry, I really am, but youre stuck with me. However, Im not really that sorry considering the gifts you get instead. The first of which are Palms. How are they a celebrity guest entry? Well, their members are Chino Moreno, of Deftones, and Jeff Caxide, Aaron Harris and Bryant Clifford Meyer, of Isis. I mean, that should surely be enough to get you interested, but if its not, well, how about the four together create an especially hypnotic and dream like strain of post-rock that delves into the more melodic and ambient moments of Isis via Deftones at their most mellow and experimental.
