1. Everything Matt Heafy Does (And Encourages) On Social Media
When your face is out there for millions to see, you just have to be able to laugh at yourself sometimes. There's no better way of establishing a sense of humbleness and self-aware tonality than by appreciating the many times fans take your a screaming mush and attach it to all sorts of memes and images. Heafy even prompts these on occasion, sending out a particularly daft image where a photographer has caught him mid-grimace, asking fans to get their photoshop skills on, and he'll retweet the best ones. It's resulted in some truly hilarious images over the years, and goes a long way to establishing Matt as someone who recognises metal can be big, brash and ridiculous - but that's why we love it so much.
