4. Roger Daltrey
Roger Daltrey was the poster boy for British rock music in the late sixties and early seventies, with The Who being considered as one of the greatest rock bands the UK has ever produced. Their ability to build colossal walls of rock 'n' roll were the perfect foundations to lay down Daltrey's epic vocals. You only have to listen to 10 seconds of I Can't Explain or See Me Feel Me to identify his phenomenal set of pipes. It's hideous to think that his blonde curly mane, flared jeans and high cheekbones coupled with his energetic stage persona and famous st-st-st-stutter in My Generation would not be enough to send Roger through to the X Factor boot camp auditions of today, but that's a whole other rant. Daltrey undeniably had a commanding rock presence like no other. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fHTdrPL22-Y
