15 Greatest Queen Songs Of All Time
3. Another One Bites The Dust
From: The Game (1980)
Few songs can become iconic solely for their bass lines, but that's exactly what John Deacon did when created one of the most iconic bass lines in history (and, arguably, one of the most iconic sounds in all of music) for “Another One Bites the Dust”.
This track, with its irresistible beat and Freddie Mercury’s roaring vocals (as always), isn’t just one of Queen’s greatest songs, it’s also one of the most recognizable rock anthems of the 1980s. It’s one of the band’s best-selling singles, it topped the charts in several countries (although the US and UK weren’t among them, strangely), and it continues to get solid radio airplay. Radio stations will continue to rock out to this one until they (finally) shut off the airwaves for good.
What more can be said about this one? Just put on those headphones and move to the beat!!
