10. Michael Hutchence - In Excess
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5zBPKjl6sj4 Michael Hutchence, lead singer of Australian rock band INXS, had dated a lot of beautiful women in his time including Kylie Minogue and supermodel Helena Christensen. In 1994, Paula Yates - wife of Sir Bob Geldof - interviewed Hutchence for The Big Breakfast. The electricity between them sizzled and they began an affair that was soon discovered by the British press. The pair were given a lot of hassle by the paparazzi and Yates had a baby girl which she christened Heavenly Hirani Tiger Lily - in keeping with her habit of giving her children silly names. Paula and Michael did a lot of drugs together. In November 1997, Hutchence was found hanging with a belt from the door of his hotel room. The state coroner said he was under the influence of alcohol and drugs and was suicidally depressed. Other people, mainly Paula, put forward the notion that he had died while performing auto erotic asphyxiation on himself. He was known to be into kinky sex. In September 2000, Yates died of an accidental overdose of heroin. Bob Geldof took custody of Tiger Lily. Whether he killed himself accidentally or on purpose, the death of Hutchence was a real loss to the world of rock n roll - the world that had at least a partial role in killing him.
