9. Pete Doherty - Heroin Haze
Pete Doherty is a talented young man. He did exceedingly well at school and was destined for a bright future until he entered the world of rock n roll. He has been arrested for driving without a license, driving under the influence and car theft. He has been arrested for the possession of cannabis, heroin, ketamine and crack cocaine. He has been in and out of jail and rehab so frequently it's enough to drive you dizzy. In 2006, Doherty became a pariah when photographs of him apparently injecting heroin into a unconscious girl who was lying on his bathroom floor were published. There were other pictures of Doherty using a girl's hands for a makeshift tourniquet and also Doherty smoking a bowl of crack. He was dating Kate Moss at the time (although she is not in the photos) and was at the height of his drug addled infamy. In 2008, whilst making a track in the Recording studio, Doherty's tortured arm veins decided to stage a protest and his artery exploded when he tried to inject heroin into it. It was like a scene in a slasher film with blood gushing everywhere. But everyone involved with Pete marvelled that it was just his arm that exploded instead of his head or internal organs which have also taken some fair abuse from his insatiable appetite for drugs.
