It should be obvious from the points brought up here already, but there's no doubt that KISS fans are completely committed to their idols. As Tommy Thayer put it,
KISS fans rock like no other. They're by far the most dedicated fans I've ever seen with any band, almost to the point where it's a little over the top. But you've got to hand it to people when they have a passion for something like the KISS fans do; how they express it with all the fanzines and tribute bands is amazing. I haven't seen anything else like it in the world.
So there you have it, KISS fans. Your adoration and devotion to the KISS Army doesn't go unnoticed by the band. They feed off your love for them just as much as you live off their music. True KISS fans understand that they have a relationship with their favourite band that outdoes the connection between any other group and its audience, and KISS' own members are the first to acknowledge that.
