14. They Should Have Been Inducted Into The Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame By Now
This is genuinely one of the greatest travesties in rock music. Why haven't Mötley Crüe, one of the biggest selling rock bands of all time, been inducted into The Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame?! They've been around long enough, they've created enough incredible tracks, they've had a best-selling book about their rock star exploits... And yet they've been totally ignored! Perhaps their bad-boy reputation is the reason for the selectors' hesitation - but then, KISS, Guns N' Roses, Ozzy Osbourne, Iggy Pop and The Sex Pistols are all in there! Yes, Crüe see it as a bit of "a joke", according to Sixx, but still... If Green Day and U2 can get into the Hall Of Fame, then surely the Crüe deserve their place among the gods of rock?
