10. We Hate Ozzfest
ABCLet's face it. As much as we may love Ozzy for what he has given to music, his lovable personality, and not knowing Justin Bieber (when asked a confused Ozzy fired back on TV, "Who the F*** is Justin Bieber?"), Ozzfest sucks. There's nothing like paying a ton of money to sit through several terrible bands in the hot sun to see a couple of good headliners to really mellow out your zeal for the music scene. I mean, Limp Bizkit was invited to play Ozzfest alongside Black Sabbath. Need more be said? However, Maiden fans should loath Ozzfest for an entirely different reason. In 2005, Iron Maiden was set to headline the notable tour along with the prince of darkness. Sounds like the best Ozzfest ever, right? Instead it was a downright disaster. Iron Maiden despised the tour's overblown corporate seating and high ticket pricing, and Bruce began to voice his opinion that the fans were being ripped off. In retaliation to this Sharon planted people in the crowd to hurl eggs, delay Maiden from playing, and had their PA cut out at the height of their songs. A reasonably furious Maiden still came out for an encore, which ended with an idiot chanting Ozzy into a microphone. After all of this nonsense Sharon had the audacity to come out on stage and call Bruce a prick that got what he deserved for disrespecting the tour. This ended with thousands of Maiden fans swarming the exits as Black Sabbath came out to play for a thinned audience. Not a pretty picture.
