18 Things Only Iron Maiden Fans Will Understand

11. Ed Hunter Was Our Revolution X

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fAgW7Xnqj6w Like most kids growing up in the 80s hangover that was the early 90s going out for pizza was a regular family outing in our households (people were still calling it a slice of Za for crying out loud). What made these trips memorable were the dark arcade rooms that almost without fail carried a machine for Aerosmith's Revolution X. The game, which was developed by Aerosmith, was an abso-ludicrously bizarre first person shooter that we would only expect to come from, well, Aerosmith. Featuring the bandmates and their music, you fought along Steven Tyler against a nasty corporation who were trying to kill the power of Rock'N'Roll. However, enough about Aerosmith. Only a few other bands have had their own video games made for them. One such game is Ed Hunter, or, every Iron Maiden fan's version of Revolution X. Ed Hunter is a lot like X without the exotic dancers. The game's story begins with you being given the mission to find Eddie the Head, while having to shoot a bunch of baddies along the way. Its release was coupled with Virtual IX, the last album Maiden made with Blaze Bayley.
