https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vn-k0SotvoM One of Steven Van Zandt's biggest gripes with The River was that, despite how great it became, that Bruce left off too many two and a half and three minute pop songs. There's some absolute gems on the Tracks box-set and outtakes from The River sessions are well-represented. Conspicuous by its absence is Cindy, a truly wonderful love song (an alternate version sees Bruce trading vocals with sax player Clarence Clemons).
