If you grew up in Britian during the late 90's or early 2000's and miss the days when UK garage was all over the airwaves, then you'll be excited to find that 18-year-old Brit Alex Crossan, otherwise known as Mura Masa, is bringing it back with a little bit of a modern twist.

While the beats have a hint of the garage culture about them, it's really the vocals that Mura Masa has utilised over his poppy, yet R'n'B tinged beats that bring back memories of Sweet Female Attitude and and Nina Jayne to those who grew up during that era.

With a number of producers coming from the same scene as the talented producer, most would assume it would be hard for him to break away and make a name for himself and his music. However, with Someday Somewhere, he's managed to do just that with tracks like Firefly featuring Nao really making sure many people keep close tabs on him from here on out.
