Performed in front of over 500,000 people, The Concert In Central Park is a demonstration of why Simon and Garfunkel are the legendary duo they've always been reported as. Recorded in 1981, over 10 years after the band had split, the concert was organised as a benefit gig with proceeds going towards the development of land in Manhattan. This was an afterthought though; everyone was really there for the music.

Putting their differences aside, Simon and Garfunkel showed why they've earned their household fame, with fantastic performances of their hits, and in particular the mesmerising rendition of 'The Sound Of Silence' where 500,000 people stare on, entranced at their heroes' performance.

The Concert In Central Park is an iconic performance capturing everything a concert of its status should be; an unforgettable location and an awe-inspiring performance.
