20 Greatest Punk Albums Ever Made

8. Rancid - ...and Out Come The Wolves

Admittedly, 1995 was not a huge year for punk rock, but that didn't stop Rancid from releasing one of the genres best ever records.

Rancid formed in 1991, with '...and Out Come the Wolves' being their third studio album and unquestionably their best. The mid-1990's saw a punk rock revival in some respects, with a number of new and old names alike releasing incredible records in this period. Some of these records included 'Dookie' by Green Day, 'Stranger Than Fiction' by Bad Religion and Anti-Flag's 'Die for the Government'.

This is a truly perfect album which consists of one ska punk classic after another. Some of the most memorable and well known tunes from this album include 'Ruby Soho', 'Roots Radicals', 'Time Bomb' and 'Maxwell Murder'. However, not giving every song from this album an honourable mention seems unfair.

Rancid are still together today, with their tenth studio album expected to be released towards the end of 2020 or beginning of 2021.
