20 Jay-Z Songs You’ve Never Heard

16. Jay-Z - Addicted To The Game

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yXf0GNJ-2t8 Addicted To The Game applies to both music and the harsh realities of drug dealing. The song begins with Jay recalling his very first drug deal and how it gave him such a rush as a child. However the song quickly turns to his latest hustle€ music. €œI rap now. I eat good, smoke good, drink good. multi-millionaire but still I think hood. Belly full I can€™t shake it. The hunger in my belly has been replaced with other forms of starvation. I guess it€™s just the need to be heard.€ Though, we€™ll forget about his first hustle as well: €œMy first brick did it. I knew I was addicted, when I flipped it to four then I whipped it to more.€

15. Jay-Z Feat. Sauce Money - Dead Or Alive

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fd-mCb7KB28 Everybody knows the story of the infamous east-coast/west-coast rap beef of the '90s. Tupac dissing Biggie on records and vica versa. However, most people don't remember that Pac was going at almost everybody on the east-coast, including Mobb Deep, Nas and, you guessed it, even Jay-Z. This makes sense seeing as though Jay and Big were such close friends. Now, most fans might have heard Pac diss Jay but what many people never realized is that Jay actually responded. The song Dead Or Alive (featuring Jay's frequent cohort Sauce Money) was recorded but wasn't released (officially) due to Pac's untimely death. It wouldn't be until years later that the song would find its way to the masses.
