20 Most Underrated Nu-Metal Anthems

7. Nothingface – Bleeder

Not familiar with Nothingface? You're missing out. For periods of the ‘90s and ‘00s, the Washington, D.C. four-piece blended heaviness with melody almost like it was a conventional thing. Well it wasn’t, and that’s what makes these unpredictable trendsetters so unique.

From their incredible fourth LP Violence, first single ‘Bleeder’ deserved to be a huge hit, but never quite attained that status. However, don’t let that deter you from absorbing this tour de force in how to create a great nu-metal song. Raging riffs, unconventional drum patterns, and some supreme mic work courtesy of trailblazer vocalist Matt Holt make this a unique slice of music, regardless of genre.

Not only is ‘Bleeder’ an insanely underrated track, but Nothingface in general are extremely underrated. Just don’t let them remain underappreciated for you – they are too good to remain relatively obscure.
