20 Problems Only Music Festival Goers Will Understand

10. Your Favourite Indie Band Is Famous Now

You were going to scream their lyrics louder than anybody else - maybe they'd single you out in the crowd for being such a longtime fan of the band. That dream will never come true sadly, because your indie darlings have become HUGE in the past few months - or at least one of their songs has. The tent is packed out for that one summer hit and you won't be able to get a decent view at all. They'll play it second last and everybody will leave once it's over.

9. Tolerating Awful Bands To Be Near The Front

The band that pretty much confirmed your decision to buy a ticket are on in an hour and a half. You and your gang have managed to secure a spot within touching distance of those bored roadies setting up the stage - it's going to be brilliant. All you need to do is sit through that awful screamo band your little brother's mates love. Here they come, maybe they won't be so bad... Oh god, is this even music!? The drummer has far too many cymbals and the frontman keeps retching down the microphone. Hopefully he's okay.
