One of Aerosmith's many achievements in the 1970s was appearing in the theatrical adaptation of a play based on the Beatles' 1967 album Sgt, Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band, which starred a medley of famous faces from the world of music and beyond.

Aerosmith appeared as an evil ensemble with the augural name of the Future Villain Band, un-inventively intent on world domination.

"Achievement" is, however, a loose term. The film was a disappointingly camp spectacle, despite an all-star cast including the Bee Gees, Alice Cooper and Steve Martin. It was nominated for three different awards in the Stinkers Bad Movie Awards, and was even condemned by George Harrison of the Beatles as a low point in the featuring stars' careers.

Needless to say, the members of Aerosmith likely don't place this chapter of their careers that high on their resume- nor does anybody else in the film.

I'm perfectly sane, or so the voices tell me. British, sarcastic, president of the European Slinky Association, have a tendency to lie when listing things about myself. 100% guilty of being a massive geek obsessed with Doctor Who, Harry Potter and video games. If you can't find me on the internet, I'm probably locked in a room playing Spyro the Dragon on my old PlayStation, or blowing everything to smithereens with a concrete donkey on Worms: Armageddon.
