The music video for 1989's "Janie's Got A Gun" was directed by a youthful David Fincher, who would go on to direct numerous acclaimed films such as Se7en and The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo. Indeed, the ninth rule of Fight Club was probably "don't mention the time David directed a music video."

Similarly, "Falling in Love (Is Hard on the Knees)" was directed by the previously mentioned explosions enthusiast Michael Bay of Armageddon fame; his career has been considerably less well lauded than Fincher's.

The video itself was pretty surreal; intended as a parody of grunge videos, several supermodels appear dressed as nurses, dominatrices and princesses. Perhaps the wardrobe department were short on time or money, so they went to a nearby fancy dress shop late in October and bought the only remaining Halloween costumes?

I'm perfectly sane, or so the voices tell me. British, sarcastic, president of the European Slinky Association, have a tendency to lie when listing things about myself. 100% guilty of being a massive geek obsessed with Doctor Who, Harry Potter and video games. If you can't find me on the internet, I'm probably locked in a room playing Spyro the Dragon on my old PlayStation, or blowing everything to smithereens with a concrete donkey on Worms: Armageddon.
